A WOMAN from Mirfield is holding a car boot sale to raise funds for the Meningitis Research Foundation in memory of her school friend who died from the illness.

Helen McKechnie is organising the event at Mirfield Free Grammar School.

The sale is on the school's front car park on September 16, 10am.
